Certified Death Doula Support Rooted in Compassion & Presence

Compassionate Support for Life's Final Chapter

Leah Wagner - Certified Death Doula

A Calling Shaped by Service, Faith, and Compassion

My name is Leah Wagner, and I am a Certified End of Life Doula with a deep, lifelong calling to care for people during their most vulnerable moments. For more than 20 years, I served in the Adams County District Attorney’s Office, where empathy, advocacy, and human connection were essential to supporting individuals through difficult seasons of life. That experience shaped how I listen, how I show up, and how I hold space for others with compassion and respect.

After personally walking alongside loved ones at the end of life, I felt a clear and undeniable calling—one I truly believe God placed on my heart—to offer comfort and guidance during life’s final chapter. That calling became even clearer after hearing a podcast discuss the “Silver Wave” of Baby Boomers and the growing need for skilled, heart-centered end-of-life professionals. As a Certified End of Life Doula, I now serve families as a calm, steady presence, offering faith-centered support rooted in dignity, peace, and compassionate care. If you’re seeking guidance during this sacred time, I invite you to reach out and begin a conversation today.

What We Offer & Why We Serve

At Honor Through Care, we provide thoughtful, personalized support for individuals and families facing the end of life. As a Certified End of Life Doula, I offer non-medical, emotional, and spiritual care designed to bring comfort, reassurance, and peace during the final months of life. Our services which consist of Respite, Vigil & Life Review complement hospice programs by filling the emotional and personal gaps that medical care alone cannot address.

As a Trained Doula, I focus on presence—being there when families need someone who will listen, comfort, and walk beside them through uncertainty. Whether supporting a loved one who has three to six months remaining or offering guidance through the emotional challenges of end-of-life planning, my role as a care doula is grounded in compassion and trust. We choose to provide these services because no one should face the end of life alone, and every individual deserves dignity, comfort, and meaningful connection.
